April spring creek summary
This rainy month brings us Swallows, Forsythia, green Willows, nesting Mallards, baetis vagans, paraleptophlebia adoptiva, and Craneflies.
On wild Trout water it also brings the late April doldrums. Water temperatures fluctuate between 46 and 56 degrees. Successful flies include Sucker Spawn, , Al’s Rat, Blue Winged Olive, Craneflies, Hares Ears, Ants, Henryville Specials and Adams.
