GREETING FROM CHICAGO
April showers brought May flowers and baetis vagans, p. adoptiva, Mothers Day and the annual arrival of the Shad in the Delaware River.
Mid May will bring ephemerella (the Sulphurs.) Midges will be present as always and water temperatures will go from 54 degrees to 60 degrees. We suggest Blue Winged Olives, Pale Evening Duns, Sulphur patterns, Adams, Ants, Craneflies, Henryvilles, Gold Ribbed Hares Ears, Elk Hair Caddis, Al’s Rats and Brassies
