I stopped for lunch on the Dead River near Eustice, Maine.
A Canadian couple invited me to join them.
Over ham salad sandwiches, with mustard, served on white bread with the crust trimmed off, my new friends told me of all the fishing opportunities in New Brunswick. "The fishing is so good here you have bait your hook with your back to the stream."
So Cathy and I are off to New Brunswick via the Portland Maine / Falmouth Nova Scotia ferry.
